Performance at the Mission Bay Nursing Home
Today, we went to the Mission Bay Nursing Home to play classical music for the residents. Surprisingly, we had a large number of performers show up and I was very glad about that, since that meant the audience would experience a wide range of music. One specific moment that stayed with me would honestly just be the whole experience. This was the first time where I held a leadership role (manager,) and it taught me a lot of things. One parent

Hibiki’s Spirit of Japan Celebration
At the Spirit of Japan Celebration, I learned much about Japanese culture and festivals. It was nice volunteering for an event that strove to represent the culture that I was a part of, and I had a blast. Our music program consisted of a large number of traditional Japanese songs, and it was fun learning them. I learned today that setting up and breaking down a performance takes a lot of time, and that often unexpected things may happen. I also learned that it’s important t
