Meeting the Seniors

1. What we did:

We visited an Active Memorial Care Center and spent time with senior residents, engaging in simple conversations and activities.

2. A moment that stayed with me:

One memorable moment was trying to interact with seniors who have dementia, as communication was sometimes difficult but meaningful.

3. What I learned / felt:

I felt a bit scared at times because some residents struggled to communicate, but it also helped me understand the challenges they face and the importance of patience.

4. How I will use this experience:

I will use this experience to better handle and communicate with people in the future, especially by being more patient, understanding, and compassionate.
